Billy and The Candy Wrapper!

Billy bought a candy bar
And tossed the wrapper very far
The wind picked up and you could say
That little wrapper flew away
It tossed and turned in the blue sky
The wind throwing it extremely high
The wrapper fluttered to a beat
As it descended to the street
The streets filled with cars and crowds
Throwing the wrapper into misty shrouds
Cars speed by with tremendous speeds
Giving the wrapper the push it needs
It floated down slowly with ease
As the wind slowed to a slight breeze
It weaves between the city lights
As the wrapper soars to new heights
It glides aimlessly to the outskirts of town
Where the city starts to settle down
The country feel is in the air
As the wrapper floats without a care
As the wind soon came to a sudden halt
The wrappers suspension began to fault
It twirled down to the ground
Landing softly without a sound
The wrapper was stationary by the grass
Stained with the stench of gas
It flickered and flinched trying to get free
Hoping something could hear its plea
Billy has come strolling by
When something glimmering caught his eye
After finding the source he shouted in glee
That candy wrapper followed me!
The next time you think littering is o.k.
Think about this wrapper that went astray
How the wrappers can find its deceiver
Will surely turn you into a believer
